Freedom from Word Curses, Spells & Generational Ties | Grow in God Devotionals

In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce, come out of agreement, bind, and cast out every word curse, spell, incantation, and spoken decree released against my life. I break the legal right of any curse to land, for it is written that a curse causeless shall not come (Proverbs 26:2). I extend my authority to break every hidden, legalistic, environmental, and self-inflicted decree spoken against my destiny — from childhood to this present moment — including those rooted in ancestral altars, predatory trauma, and secret oaths.

I. Occult Oaths, Altars, and Covenants

• Secret Societies & Oaths: I renounce and break all word curses, blood oaths, and death decrees tied to Freemasonry, secret societies, or occult pacts made by myself or my ancestors. I cancel every “vow of silence” and every penalty spoken over my body, mind, or finances.
• Family Altars: I break every word curse tied to family altar dedications, pag-aalay, or covenants with familiar spirits. I declare that I am dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ alone.
• Subtle Covenants: I nullify every subtle demonic covenant formed through entertainment, music, or ungodly associations that opened the door for word curses to take root.

II. Predatory, Abusive, and Controlling Word Curses

• Trauma & Violation: I break the word curses of molesters and predators who said, “If I can’t have you, I will ruin you,” or “No one will ever love you.” I command those words to die at the root. I am clean, I am loved, and I am protected.
• Obsessive Relationships: I break the curse of the jilted lover or ex who said, “If I won’t marry you, may you never get married.” I declare my path to a godly marriage is open and blessed.
• Narcissistic Control: I break the words of controlling family members who decree, “You will not get ahead in life if you don’t come back to my control.” I am led by the Spirit of God, not by emotional blackmail or narcissistic manipulation.
• Weaponized History & Slander: I break and dismantle every word curse and slanderous accusation based on my past mistakes, previous seasons, or family history. I renounce the decree that says, “You will always be just like [family member],” or “You can’t escape your past.” *
• Bloodline Defamation: I silence the tongues that use my family’s struggles to predict my failure. I break the power of “reputational curses” that attempt to label me by the sins or shortcomings of my ancestors.
• The “Mark of Shame” & Childhood Labels: I reject and cast out every false witness that uses my vulnerability or history as a weapon to disqualify me from my future. I break and pull down every word curse delivered in the form of “teasing,” “nicknames,” or “childhood jokes” that were rooted in my imperfections or developmental seasons.
• Cruel Identifiers: I renounce and break the power of labels like “stinky” or “dirty” used against me because of childhood bedwetting or physical accidents. I break the curse of being called “negra,” “dark,” or “charcoal” because of my skin tone. I reject all cruel nicknames related to my weight, my height, my teeth, my hair texture, or my academic struggles.
• Social Stigmas: I break the power of words spoken by peers, siblings, or adults that mocked my “slow start” or my physical traits. I declare that those labels do not define my beauty, my value, or my cleanliness in Christ.
• Identity Restoration: I declare that my past is under the Blood of Jesus, and it no longer serves as legal grounds for the enemy to accuse or define me. I am no longer that child; I am a child of the King, clothed in dignity and honor.

I Decree the Erasure of the Former Things: As written in Isaiah 43:18–19, I do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. God is doing a new thing! I refute every tongue that uses my history as a judgment against my current identity. I am vindicated by the Lord, and my “old man” is dead; the “new man” is seated in victory.

III. Physical and Mental Health

• Systemic & Reproductive Illness: I renounce and break curses of cancer, cysts, tumors, fibroids, polyps, and masses. I break curses of HIV, AIDS, syphilis, and autoimmune diseases. I break every decree of barrenness, impotence, or terminal illness.
• Physical Infirmity & Injury: I cast out all word curses of disability, paralysis, and immobility. I break decrees of blindness, blurred vision, and the “evil eye” speck. I nullify curses of accidents, fractures, and unexplained injuries.
• Degenerative & Chronic Conditions: I break every word curse of early-onset dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and all forms of cognitive decline. I renounce decrees of arthritis, osteoporosis, spinal decay, and chronic inflammation. I cast out the word curses of diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and organ failure. I command every decree of “progressive” or “incurable” illness to be broken by the power of the stripes of Jesus.
• Common & Persistent Ailments: I break the power of word curses over my immune system, including chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and unexplained pain. I renounce words that spoke of insomnia, sleep apnea, or restless spirits. I break decrees of seasonal allergies, skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis), and digestive disorders. I reject the curse of “being prone to sickness” or having a “weak constitution.”
• Environmental & Neurological Health: I break word curses that target my central nervous system, brain chemistry, and hormonal balance. I renounce words that spoke of migraines, vertigo, epilepsy, or tremors. I cancel every decree of chemical imbalance or sensitivity to the environment intended to keep me in a state of physical fragility.
• Mental & Emotional Torment: I cast out word curses of lunacy, insanity, paranoia, and chronic anxiety. I break every decree of depression, self-hate, and suicidal ideation. I silence the demonic whispers that say “end your life” or “it is better to die.” I renounce the labels of “bipolar,” “schizophrenic,” or “traumatized” when used as a spiritual cage to prevent my healing.

I Decree My Body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost: As written in 1 Corinthians 6:19, my body is not my own; it was bought with a price. Therefore, no word curse can reside in my flesh. As written in Exodus 15:26, the Lord is my Healer, and He will put none of these diseases upon me. I declare that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s, and even in old age, I shall be fat and flourishing! (Psalm 92:14).

IV. Self-Inflicted Curses & Mental Strongholds

• Internalized Negativity: I renounce every word curse I have spoken over myself out of hopelessness, consecutive misfortune, or catastrophic thinking.
• Strongholds of Unbelief: I pull down the strongholds of “I will never succeed” or “nothing good ever happens to me.” I repent for any agreement with the spirit of poverty, death, or abuse.
• Coerced Words: I break every word I was forced to say against myself through coercion, intimidation, or gaslighting.

V. Social, Workplace, and Religious Warfare

• Persistent Targeting: I break the power of “recycled” and “reinstated” curses issued by the same individuals, covens, or networks. I break the decree that I will “always be a target” of rejection or harassment.
• Workplace Malice: I break the word curses of former employers or jealous coworkers who said, “I hope you struggle,” or “You’ll never find a better place.” or “You will never get promoted”
• Religious Control: I break word curses from religious leaders or “pious” people who spoke judgment or misfortune because I missed a service or left a congregation. I reject “soulish” manipulative prayers.
• Social Circles: I silence gossipers, “flying monkeys,” and those who use “backhanded compliments” or snarky smiles to release envy.

VI. Appearance and Identity

• Physical Restoration: I break word curses of premature aging, skin blotches, rashes, hair loss, or dental decay.
• Character Assassination: I break words that define my future by my past — labels like “liar,” “worthless,” or “promiscuous.” I reject the “loner” decree that says I will die alone.

VII. Occultic, Ritualistic, and Written Curses

• Witchcraft & Sorcery: I break every spell projected by paid practitioners (mangkukulam, mambabarang, nanggagayuma). I break the power of dolls, photos, and rituals done in graveyards or bodies of water.
• Visual & Written Decrees: I break the power of word curses written on paper, carved into walls, or written on the ground. I command every word written in blood or sealed in jars to be nullified.
• Astral & Digital Warfare: I bind every word curse released through demonic dreams, SMS, social media, or phone threats. I silence “palipad-hangin” (prophetic witchcraft or telephatic witchcraft) spells.

VIII. Timing, Environment, and Transactions

• Divine Alignment: I break word curses of “delays” and “detours.” I cancel every “death wish” or stressor spoken over my birthday.
• Territorial Curses: I break words whispered over my threshold or spoken against the land where I live. I break curses from street beggars or random strangers spoken in anger.
• Finances & Objects: I break word curses spoken over my money to make it “leak.” I break every curse wrapped in gifts, food, drink or attached to second-hand items.

The Final Verdict and Blessing of Restoration

I declare that my life is hidden with Christ in God. I break the frequency of repeated curses; the enemy’s voice is now white noise. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above every principality and power.

I declare that for every word of death, I receive a word of life. For every word of rejection, I receive divine acceptance. For every word of lack, I receive abundance. I am not a target; I am a victor. I am not what they say I am; I am who God says I am. Every word written or spoken against me is now null and void, falling to the ground as dead seeds. No weapon — vocal, digital, or ritual — formed against me shall prosper.

Scriptural Offensive Against All Word Curses and Slander

In the name of Jesus Christ, I stand on the authority of the Written Word. I decree that every word curse, spell, and false accusation released against me is now intercepted by the Law of God. I release the judicial decrees of the Kingdom of Heaven, declaring that the traps of the enemy are self-destructing, and every malicious word is being repurposed for my promotion.

I. Divine Protection, Reversal, and Sovereignty

• The Decree of Divine Backfire: As written in Genesis 12:3, the Lord will bless those who bless me, and him who dishonors me, God will curse. In me and my seed, all families of the earth shall be blessed.
• The Decree of Authority: As written in Genesis 27:29, let peoples serve me and nations bow down to me. I am lord over the spiritual forces sent against me. Cursed be everyone who curses me, and blessed be everyone who blesses me!
• The Sovereignty of God’s Voice: As written in Numbers 23:7–8, I ask: How can the enemy curse whom God has not cursed? How can they denounce whom the Lord has not denounced? I am under the unchangeable blessing of the Most High.
• The Failure of the Sorcerer: As written in Numbers 23:11, even if my enemies hire practitioners to curse me, they shall find they have done nothing but bless me.
• The Turning of the Tide: As written in Nehemiah 13:2, though the enemy hired “Balaams” against me to curse me, yet our God turned the curse into a blessing!
• The Lion’s Rest: As written in Numbers 24:9, I crouch and lie down like a lion; who will rouse me up? Blessed are those who bless me, and cursed are those who curse me.

II. Judicial Repayment and Divine Reciprocity

• The Decree of the Pit: I declare that every person digging a spiritual or social pit for my reputation or health shall fall into it themselves. As written in Psalm 7:15, he makes a pit, digging it out, and falls into the hole that he has made.
• The Entrapment of the Hunter: Every net set for my steps is now the snare of the caster. As written in Psalm 57:6, they set a net for my steps; they dug a pit in my way, but they have fallen into it themselves.
• The Trap of Pride: As written in Psalm 59:12, for the sin of their mouths and the words of their lips, let the practitioners of witchcraft be trapped in their pride for the cursing and lies they utter.
• The Return of Malice: As written in Psalm 109:17–18, because they loved to curse, let curses come upon them! They clothed themselves with cursing as a coat; let it now soak into their own bodies like water and like oil into their bones!
• Repayment with Good: As written in 2 Samuel 16:12, the Lord looks on the wrong done to me and repays me with good for the cursing I have endured today.

III. Vindication Against False Accusation and Slander

• The Decree of Diligent Inquiry: I bring the courtroom of Heaven down upon every false witness. As written in Deuteronomy 19:18, the Judges shall inquire diligently; let the false witness be exposed and the slanderer be put to flight.
• The Refutation of Tongues: This is my birthright. As written in Isaiah 54:17, no weapon fashioned against me shall succeed, and I shall refute every tongue that rises against me in judgment. This is my heritage and my vindication from the Lord.
• Spiritual Displacement: As written in Psalm 109:6, I pray that the enemy’s tactics are turned back. If they seek to accuse me, let an accuser stand at their own right hand.
• The Cloak of Shame: As written in Psalm 71:13 and Psalm 109:29, may my accusers be put to shame and consumed; may they be wrapped in their own shame as in a cloak!
• The Lion’s Den Reversal: As written in Daniel 6:24, the very destruction plotted for me shall return upon the heads of those who maliciously accused me — they and their household shall be overtaken by the trap they set.

IV. Supernatural Transformation and Immunity

• The Divine Turning: I declare that every word intended to harm me is now repurposed for my good. As written in Genesis 50:20, they meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.
• Total Alignment: As written in Romans 8:28, all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
• The End of Condemnation: I silence the voice of the Accuser. As written in Romans 8:1, there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
• Withering of Witchcraft: As written in Mark 11:21, every fig tree of witchcraft and every word curse uttered against my future must wither at the root now.
• The Finished Work: As written in Galatians 3:13, Christ redeemed me from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for me on the tree.

V. The Kingdom Heart and Seal of Integrity

• The Sanctity of the Mouth: As written in James 3:10, I refuse to let my mouth be an instrument of darkness. I choose to speak life and blessing.
• Blessing the Persecutor: As written in Luke 6:28 and Romans 12:14, I bless those who curse me and pray for those who abuse me, for my vengeance belongs to the Lord.
• The Protection of the Dwelling: As written in Proverbs 3:33, the Lord blesses the dwelling of the righteous. My home is a sanctuary of peace.

The Final Combined Seal of Victory

I am the Redeemed of the Lord. I am a child of the Most High. I have renounced the hidden things of darkness and the words of the wicked. From the secret oaths of societies to the whispers of the slanderer, and from self-inflicted lies to the rituals of the sorcerer — all are broken. I stand in the blessing of Abraham, the protection of Daniel, and the vindication of Isaiah. Every pit is filled, every net is broken, and every curse is now a blessing. I walk in freedom, I walk in favor, and I walk in the finished work of Jesus Christ. The mouth of the Lord has spoken it, and the hand of the Lord shall perform it.
