Breaking Agreement with the Spirit of Death: A Personal Testimony and Prayer

When I was under spiritual attack through witchcraft, I began to receive direct and indirect death threats from my in-laws. Their words and actions were laced with intimidation—designed to instil fear, paranoia, and anxiety. I didn’t realise it immediately, but these emotions became an open door, an unconscious agreement with the spirit of death. I began to lose my security in God and unknowingly aligned myself with lies of the enemy.

Over the past year, I started seeing disturbing images—funerals, tombstones, obituaries, car accidents, dreams of drowning, and other symbols of death. These weren't just random occurrences; they felt like a spiritual message echoing, “You will die.” It got to a point where I was casually telling my husband things like:

“I’m working hard to get insurance or property so I can leave an inheritance behind if I die.”

But behind this was a subtle spiritual manipulation. Unknown to me, my in-laws, who are practising witches, were coveting my blessings and attempting to make me agree with the spirit of death and suicidal thoughts through fear, trauma, and emotional exhaustion.

Finding Help Through Online Deliverance Videos

One of the first things I did was go on YouTube in desperation. I stumbled upon powerful deliverance videos from:

• Pastor Robert Clancy

• Noah Hines

• Evangelist Fernando Perez

These online ministers helped me identify the source of the spiritual oppression. I began listening to these prayers and teachings night after night. That’s when something began to break—I burped, yawned uncontrollably, vomited heavily, and even experienced rashes as a sign of physical deliverance.

This cycle of listening and praying became a turning point for me. The spirit of death lost its grip as I returned fully to God and stood in agreement with the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus.

Prayer to Rebuke the Spirit of Death

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I come against the spirit of death and all its manifestations in my life, my mind, and my atmosphere. I rebuke every attempt of death to enter through accidents, suicidal thoughts, morbid imaginations, sympathy flower ads, funerals, graveyard or coffin images, death tolls, obituaries, or any subtle signs and symbols.

I cancel every word, image, sound, and frequency tied to premature death, spiritual death, or emotional death in my life or my family. I declare:

“I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.”
(Psalm 118:17)

The blood of Jesus speaks life over me. Every assignment of death, destruction, and fear—I bind you and cast you out in Jesus’ name.

I cover myself, my family, my mind, my emotions, my home, and all my surroundings with the Blood of Jesus. I declare that the shadow of death shall not rest upon me, and no weapon of death formed against me shall prosper. Every tongue rising against me wishing me to die prematurely shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

I break covenant with fear, and I make covenant with the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. Let every altar summoning death, invoking the spirit of Apollyon or Abaddon, be shattered now by Holy Ghost fire.

In Jesus’ name, I walk in life, peace, and divine protection.
Amen.
